Football Updates
Thu 06 Nov 2025On Thursday 6th November, Holy Trinity hosted girls’ and boys’ football fixtures against Bridgetown Primary.
On the girls’ pitch, the game was a real nail-biter from start to finish— a back-and-forth, end-to-end match with both teams creating plenty of chances. However, goals were hard to come by. Some excellent saves at both ends, plus a few near misses, made it look like the match would finish 0–0. With just seconds remaining, our girls continued to believe in their efforts, which truly deserved a goal — and Ornella duly fired the ball into the back of the net to secure a 1–0 victory. Who doesn’t love a last-minute winner!
On the boys’ pitch, an unusually slow start saw us trailing 3–0 within minutes. At this point, all spectators were understandably concerned about how the rest of the match might play out. However, we need not have worried — our boys dug deep and began to keep possession of the ball, to the point where we dominated the rest of the first half and, miraculously, went into half-time at 3–3.
An exchange of goals early in the second half moved the scoreline to 4–4, but a period of dominance from Bridgetown saw them take a 7–4 lead. Once again, our boys continued to fight, pulling a goal back, but they had left themselves too much to do for a second time, resulting in a 7–5 loss. It was a fantastic game of football to watch!
Well done and thank you to all the girls, boys, and parents from both sides for an enjoyable evening of football.

Working with Warwickshire to Support All Learners - public consultation open
Wed 05 Nov 2025We are one of the schools in the Stratford upon Avon area that is hoping to open a Warwickshire Local Authority resource provision for 8 children with specific educational needs, attached to our school.
It is a self contained provision where some adaptations will be made to our current building. This will provide support for children already in our school and will also provide further spaces (but only up to 8) where needed. This will have no impact on the teaching and learning taking place in other parts of the school.
There is a public consultation for this for which the link is provided below. All comments must be received by 16th November 2025.
