Do you think all pirate ships were the same?

Now that we know about the different parts of a pirate ship, we need to decide which sort of pirate ship is the best!

Please use the PPT to help you find out about the different types of pirate ship.  As well as clicking to bring up the pictures and texts, you can click on the sound button to hear the text read aloud if you would like.

Then we would like you to decide which type of ship you would choose to have.  Why would you choose that ship?  Which good features does it have?  You do not need to write anything down for this, you can just discuss your ideas with your adult.

 

Once we are back in school, we will design and make our pirate ships.
