Do you have a pet?

What do you do to look after it?

We would like you to create a poster (please do this on paper and put it in your plastic wallet) showing how you care for and look after your pet.

You could also include a picture of your pet.  Make sure any writing you do on your poster is neat and in sentences starting with a capital letter and full stop, eg. I take my dog for a walk every day.  When it is hungry, I give my pet some food.  It is important to keep my pet warm.

 

If you don't have a pet of your own, you could watch the video below from the TV programme, My Pet and Me, to learn how Sophie looks after her guinea pig, then do a poster using the information that you found out.

This poster has some examples and lots of different animals.  We know that those of you who have pets know a lot about looking after them so we are sure you could put a bit more detail on and draw pictures of yourselves looking after your pet in the different ways.
