This week, we will continue to explore Leaf by Sandra Dieckmann.  Remind yourself of the story by watching Bedtime Stories | Joanna Page | Leaf | CBeebies - YouTube.  You might enjoy acting out the story together, using actions, toys or paper puppets.

We will infer what the characters might be thinking or feeling.  Remember that we can work out what characters are thinking or feeling by looking for clues in what they say or do.  Choose a character from the story.  What do they say?  What do they do?  Does this change during the story?  What might the character's actions tell us about his or her feelings?  What describing words or adjectives could you use for your character?

Draw us a picture of your character.  Write the words that you chose to describe him or her.  When you come back to school, we will ask you why you chose those words.  What did your character say or do that made you think this?
