Your home learning books:

We want the handwriting in your books to be really neat and presentable.

Please only put in the books what we ask you to put in them (we will guide you on this).

Every Friday we are aiming to do a handwriting session -  will ask you to write the sentence that was demonstrated in the zoom during week 1. You can find the sentence below (how to set out writing).

We want you to repeat writing the same sentence each handwriting session so that you can see the progress in your letter formation every time you write it.  We may ask you to hold your work up so that we can see how hard you are working and you can share your wonderful efforts.

NB: We would love you to practise your handwriting every day but we only want you to put in the lined book ONCE A WEEK.

There is fantastic guidance for joining letters on the Year  1 Home Learning.  We ask that if you are not confident in how to join letters that you refer to these demonstration videos.
