Think carefully about what the question is asking, identify the coins and remember some of them may take more than one step to solve.
The first activity is a bit easier then there are some more challenging problems on the second page. On the second page, the problems involve slightly larger numbers. Please encourage your child to use their addition and subtraction strategies, adding the tens and the ones (drawing them out as lines and dots if it helps), and using a numberline for the subtraction steps as we have been doing this week with finding the different and finding change.
