In preparation for Year 6, your child should practice the spellings on the Year 5/6 spelling list. We have been practicing these throughout Year 5 so your child will be familiar with these. As there are a lot of them, we suggest breaking the list into more manageable chunks and focusing on 10 or so at a time. Practicing these over the summer will make a big difference when your child returns to school in September.
