Rooted in faith, we reach for the stars.

Maths

This week, we will be finding number bonds to 100.  We will use 100 squares to colour the given amount then count in tens and ones to find the other number in the number bond.  See below for our number bonds to 100 activity.

For addition of 3-digit numbers, we will be encouraging the children to find number bonds to 10 first of all to make the addition easier, for example, 7 + 3 + 8 we would do 7 + 3 first as this makes 10 then 10 + 8 to give an answer of 18.

Please practise recognising the different coins and notes with your child ready for our money learning.  You could also practise finding totals of different sets of coins.
