Safeguarding and employment /volunteering

Holy Trinity CofE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) with barred list check is required for all successful applicants.

Posts offered are likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.

In line with KCSIE 2022 and safer recruitment practices, Holy Trinity Primary will conduct an online search for all shortlisted candidates. The online search is part of our safeguarding checks and will seek publicly available information on candidates’ suitability to work with children. Shortlisted candidates will be provided with further guidance and will be asked to clarify their online presence.

Volunteering Opportunities

We are always on the lookout for volunteers to read with children.  If you can spare any time at all, please speak to your child's class teacher.  If you don't have children in the school, please contact the school office on:
