Tuesday independent pirate challenges
In this morning's zoom, we used our Maths skills to solve a range of pirate problems to help us work out who had the treasure!
Below, you will find some more pirate-themed problems to solve. Some of them have one answer, some of them involve finding all the different possible answers. You may find it helpful to use objects or drawings to explore the problems and find the answers. They do not have to be done in any particular order and you do not have to do all of them, just enough to fill your independent work time!
If you complete them all and have time left over, can you create a pirate problem of your own? It might involve adding, subtracting, 2, 5 or 10 times table or money (all learning we have covered in year 2 so far). If you would like to present it nicely and email in a photo, we could put them on the wonderful work page for your classmates to try to solve!
