Year 3 Hello: Share what you have been up to this week, here!
Dear Year 3,
Happy New Year! For this half term we will be providing online learning for your child. The maths and English lessons will be taught daily through zoom. The other foundation subjects will be available to access on here. We recommend that you follow the timetable (see the link below) so we can share work together as we go.
We will also be hosting a ‘drop in’ zoom session for half an hour each day at 11am for parents to raise any concerns or ask questions about the work.
We would like you to try and complete one piece of work every day that can be emailed to your teacher for us to have a look at.

Here are a variety of resources that you might want to have a look at.
Happy News: A really brilliant free and downloadable resource pack to help children focus on the happy and positive. Highly recommended.
Pobble : This website provides a new picture everyday for your children to use as a quick comprehension exercise or a writing exercise. You can create a free login.
Author Reading: The celebrated and fantastic author, Piers Torday, is reading his new book, The Dark Wild every day on his youtube channel!
Football Magazine: Yes, we did find a football magazine! If your child is a football fanatic, this looks great. They are quite challenging for Year 3, but we're sure it will appeal to some of you!
Spelling Frame : There are free spelling games for all year groups. Your child can use the practice and test function too.
NCETM: If your child needs extra practice these are clear videos for your child to watch and have a go.
Twinkl Go!: Twinkl have opened up some of their games to parents for free.
Please follow us on Twitter to keep up with our everyday activities.
Autumn Term 2020
We recommend using the resources within the pages below should your child develop symptoms or require time off school. These pages will be updated with relevant English and Maths resources should the entire year group need to isolate. As always, should you have any questions, please ask Mrs Templeton or Miss Geear.
