Rooted in faith, we reach for the stars.

Activity 3

Today we are revisiting the use of the apostrophe to show that something belongs to someone.

Example:

The coat which is blue belongs to the boy.

The boy's coat is blue.

The apostrophe shows that the blue coat belongs to the boy.

We would like you to rewrite these sentences and use an apostrophe:

Conner is looking at the bike which belongs to Isla.

The coat which belongs to Martin is hanging in the hall.

The kittens which belong to Jack are very cute.

We are looking at the bike which belongs to Lok.
