Tuesday:

Today, we are going to write a diary entry about Pirate Day. During the zoom, Mrs Minshell will show you some diaries and discuss them with you.

We will then look at how to write an entry into our own diary.

If you are not attending the zoom:

Using the plan from yesterday, write the events that happened on Pirate Day.

Include the following features:

Date of the event

Write from your point of view, using words like ‘me’ and ‘my’

Write the events in the order that they happened

Use time words, e.g. ‘first’ ‘next’
