Tuesday

For the next fortnight, we are going to be thinking about 'Traditional Stories'. Do you know what a traditional story is? It is a story that has been told and retold for several generations. I heard these stories when I was a little girl, so did my mum and my granny. They are old stories. They often start with the same words. Listen to some traditional stories and try to find out the words that often start them. You may find some words that always appear at the end too.

Here are some stories to try:

Little Red Riding Hood Discovery Education Espresso - Little Red Riding Hood

Cinderella Discovery Education Espresso - Cinderella

Jack and the beanstalk Discovery Education Espresso - Jack and the Beanstalk

The Golden Goose Discovery Education Espresso - The Golden Goose

Discovery Education: Username: student 29804  Password: willow

Here is the story of 'The Enormous Turnip'.

Did you find any of these words?
