Rangoli Patterns

A famous art style from India is Rangoli.  Rangoli designs are put outside people's houses as a welcome.  They are often very colourful. 

Please have a look at the PPT with your adult to find out some information about Rangoli patterns. 

We would then like you to have a go yourself. 

We have included a video for how to draw your own, or you may like to colour one of the designs in the Word document.

If you are able to access coloured rice or other materials at home, you could create a design using these. 

However you choose to create and colour your pattern, please email us a picture to the class email addresses!
