Autumn Two

During this half term, Year 6 will be learning about "Classification", we are in the process of setting up a brand new science tool for the children to use. Children will be set home learning on the Developing Expert website which they will be able to access using their own unique number identification code. Letters will be coming home about this on Wednesday 4th November 2020 whilst you wait you can find a "Classification" PowerPoint and a sorting game.

Developing Experts

The science lesson will be available on a Thursday for your child. This week's lesson focuses on  how scientists classify living things. Please log in to your Developing Experts dashboard on Thursday to take part in this week's lesson.

Autumn One

During this half term our science topic will be "Light". We will be exploring the sources of light, how light travels, how our eye allows us to see using light and how shadows change depending on their proximity to light sources. We suggest that you follow along at home using the Oak Academy lessons below
