The most important part of our learning in computing is how to use technology safely and respectfully.  The Jessie and Friends videos are a lovely way to explore this topic together.  The Thinkuknow website provides advice for parents and carers about how best to use these videos, as well links to the videos themselves.

Autumn Term

 

We have now explored Jessie and Friends Episode One together.  We learnt that we tell a grown-up we trust if anything online makes use feel worried, scared or sad.  You might like to revisit the video together (https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/jessie-and-friends-videos/).

 

We have also started to learn about researching online safely.  The children enjoyed using the child-friendly search engine Swiggle to find answers to their questions about bears (https://swiggle.org.uk/) .  You might like to use Swiggle together to find answers to new questions, perhaps about different animals.
