We have been exploring the wonderful story called Rocket Says Look Up by Nathan Bryon. You can hear the story by watching Rocket Says Look Up! - Read Aloud Picture Book | Brightly Storytime - YouTube with your adult.

This week, we will research Rocket's inspiration, Mae Jemison. We will collect facts about what she did and why this is important before writing our own biographies about her. Revisit the "did you know" bubbles in Rocket Says Look Up. What do we learn about Mae? Watch NOVA | PBS with your adult to learn more. Use words and pictures to help you remember your facts. Can you put your facts in the order that they happened?
