CULINARY SKILLS FOR LIFE. WE LINK WITH ROYAL ACADEMY OF CULINARY ARTS AND CROWNE PLAZA STRATFORD U AVON
This dynamic collaboration enabled children to learn preparation skills and silver service skills. Children learned about the importance of hygiene and then went on to discover the different aspects of understanding taste. They were given a variety of flavours to savour, and were instructed in the art of doing this properly and effectively, so we can really consider what we are tasting when we eat. Every child had the opportunity to wear a chef's hat! This wonderful link with two local organisations was very meaningful for the children and the school.
