English weeks 6 and 7

The next two weeks English are based on the book, Dear Teacher, written by Amy Husband and published by Meadowside Books

1) Introduction to story

2) Annotating two chosen settings for your adventures

3) Letter to teacher about your adventure and reason for being unable to start school on time

4) Writing in the role of the teacher and sending a short letter back

5) Second letter to teacher writing about another adventure and advising her that you are never returning to school

6) Discussing and then making a list of things that we have done at school

7) A further letter writing in role of the teacher

8) A postcard to Mum and Dad (or other relative) from school

9) Illustrations for your adventures

10) Sharing your letters with a relative.
