Today we are going to start preparing for our own story writing which will take place next week.

We would like you to think about the magic item in the story of, The Magic Porridge Pot.

If YOU could have a magic item then what would it be?

We would like to draw four different magic items and think about what your magic item will cook (remember that the characters in the story are hungry).

Your magic item could be - a fridge or a spoon - you decide.

When you have thought about the four objects, think about which object would be best for your own story. You could write some words around the picture that you choose.

Remember - PLEASE don't write a story yet, we have a lot of work to do first :)
