River Study trip to Coombe Abbey
As part of our Geography learning about rivers, we carried out some fieldwork at Coombe Abbey Country Park. We had a fantastic day in spite of the rain!
The children really enjoyed getting in the stream to measure width, depth and flow rate. There was also much excitement while pond dipping, caused by the discovery of a variety of different creatures!
