Our first story for retelling is the traditional tale called Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  Have you heard this story before?  With you adult, you might enjoy watching and reading the story using this link Goldilocks and the three bears - Kids Stories - LearnEnglish Kids British Council - YouTube.  Once you return to school, we will show you how to map, step and speak the story so that you can retell it yourself.  While you are isolating, we would like you to sequence the story.  Below are some picture of important parts of the tale.  Can you put them in order?  You could print, cut and arrange them.  You could also look at them on the screen and discuss with your adult how you would number them from one to six.  Choose your favourite part of the story and write a caption for the picture.  If you are a confident writer, please write a full sentence with a capital letter and full stop.  Alternatively, you could write some labels for what you see in the picture using your phonics and the word mat to help you.
