Session 1:

Watch the power point that tells us abut the marriages of Henry VIII – he had SIX wives.

In class today, we will be creating a timeline of Henry VIII and his wives. We will be using a long strip of paper and placing pictures in chronological order (to do this, we will need to think about the dates that each lady became queen by marrying Henry).

You could create a time line at home, either by cutting out the pictures (see attached sheet) or by drawing the queens and writing their name and when they were married under each one.

Try to memorise the order of the wives. You can learn the poem below to help you.
