Today we would like you to revisit the story of Rapunzel.

The task later this week is to write an informal letter in the role of Rapunzel but we have some work to before we get to that point.

An informal letter is to someone that you know an it starts in a friendly way. This is because you know the person that you are writing to.

An informal letter starts with Dear … (the dashes represent who you are writing to).  You might be writing to a friend, a grandparent or anyone that you know well.

An informal letter ends in a friendly way too.

You could say:

Love from,

Best wishes,

From your friend,

We don’t want you to do a letter today but discuss with your grown up what you might include in a letter to someone you know but haven’t seen for a little while.
