Hello Year 5, 

We have read lots of excellent texts already this year and have produced some great work on "Running on Empty" and "Macbeth" in particular, this week we would be starting our new text "The Viewer" by Shaun Tan. This is one of my favourite texts to read and to teach, the story is encapsulating and really gets you thinking. Each week I will be setting a week of lessons on this fantastic book, I will also include the text in the PowerPoint so that you can read along with the lessons. This is an extra piece of work but I promise, you won't be disappointed by this wonderful story, if you are anything like me you will be begging for the next page before the week is through!
