Session 2:

Yesterday we asked you to think about what you would put in a letter to someone that you haven’t seen in a while.

Today, we would like you to think about writing a letter in the role of Rapunzel. 

We are going to pretend in class that Rapunzel is writing to the horse (she has been seeing him out of the tower window for a long time and therefore, she knows him).  She waves and smiles to him every day but she wants to tell the horse about her plan to escape for the tower.

The horse does not know why Rapunzel is in the tower and so in your letter, you will be telling the horse all about the witch and how she steals Rapunzel’s hair.

We would like you to make a list of words that you will include in your letter – you may wish to watch the video and keep pausing the story so that you can write words down.
