Today in school, we will be giving ourselves a good pirate name - we will be using this name when we come to do our writing in a later session.

Some examples of a pirate name are:

Cheeky Strong-arms

Shipmate Sea-legs

You could make up your own name.

Once you have done this, write your name down and then make a list of adjectives to describe a pirate - these will help to support your writing in a later session.

Remember that if you use two adjectives, to put  a comma between where appropriate.

Your list of adjectives, could begin like something like this:

ferocious, mean

brave, bold
