Geography - River walk to create sketch maps
To finish off our Geography block on rivers, we made sketch maps of the river Avon flowing through Stratford. Of course, we had to go and see what this part of the river and its surroundings look like first. So we headed out on a lovely Thursday morning, clipboards in hand, to walk this part of the river. On our way, we made lots of notes of all the landmarks and their positions. Once back in class, we used these notes to create our sketch maps.
