Rooted in faith, we reach for the stars.

Friday Independent Activity

Today, we are continuing to make equal groups by sharing.  Yesterday we were able to divide the amounts equally between the groups - what happens when we cant do that? Imagine there were 5 cakes and 2 people - if both people had an equal amount would there be any cakes left?

Now we have got you thinking, take a look at today's video and then complete the worksheet.

Remember if you cannot print the worksheet, you can carry out the task practically (see below).

Spr2.3.2 - Make equal groups - sharing

This is "Spr2.3.2 - Make equal groups - sharing" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

As you may have done yesterday, you can carry out this task practically too. Find some objects around your home that you can group.

Use an equal amount of objects (like on the video) but try changing your groups - can you always share equally? Can you add another group to make the share equal?

Enjoy your investigation.
