Mr Dale has 5 cakes – Mrs Minshell has 12 cakes.  How many more does Mrs Minshell have?

Mrs Jamison has 50p and Mrs Yapp has 75p. What is the difference?

Mrs Sands has 15 sweets and puts them into groups for 3 children. How many sweets will each child have?

There are 30 children in the class but 4 children are sent home in the morning. One of those children returns in the afternoon. How many children are in the class in the afternoon?

Mrs Horton has 30 biscuits and she gives 16 away. How many biscuits does Mrs Horton have left?
