In school this week, we are undertaking some assessments.

If you are at home then we will get you to complete these when you return to school.

If you were in school yesterday - please refer to this week's previous sessions before beginning your work.

We love reading in school and we want to encourage children to read different types of texts.  If you are at home this week, then it is a great opportunity to practise your reading :)

Today, we would like you to draw a picture/pictures that depicts the book that you chose to read for the last session.

You can either:

Fiction (story)

Draw the picture and then write about the story underneath

Or

Annotate the picture. For example, write the names of the characters on the picture and label the things that you draw.

Non-Fiction (fact book)

 If you chose to read a non-fiction book, then draw pictures from the text and label them

Or

 Write some of the facts that you found out.

NB: With either of the above, Use the text to support your work today.
