Fantastic Effort to Y6 for fundraising with the whole school for Children in Need!

  • Supporting Children in Need

    Fri 14 Nov 2025

As is tradition, to raise money for this year’s Children in Need appeal, our Year 6 classes have been busy planning an afternoon of fun and games for this Friday. They have organised and resourced everything themselves (including prizes), and it is always a lot of fun!

We ask children to contribute a small monetary donation where possible, which will allow them to play as many games as they wish during their time slot. Please note that no children will be excluded from taking part.  Prizes and games on offer traditionally include iced biscuits, face painting, temporary tattoos, and sweets (which will be sent home to consume).

Allergies and intolerances will, of course, be taken into consideration. However, if there are any specific preferences or restrictions for your child that we might not be aware of (e.g. no face paint), please inform your child’s class teacher and discuss this with your child as well.

Finally, normal school uniform should still be worn. However, children are very welcome to accessorise with Children in Need items such as Pudsey headbands, spotty tights or socks, or themed T-shirts under their school jumpers.

Many thanks for your continued support.

  • Anti-Bullying Week 2025 – “Power for Good”

    Mon 10 Nov 2025

    Anti-Bullying Week 2025 – “Power for Good”

This week marks Anti-Bullying Week 2025, and our school is proud to be taking part in the national theme: “Power for Good.” Throughout the week, pupils will be exploring how their words and actions can make a positive difference — speaking out, supporting others, and helping to create a school community where kindness wins.

Classes will take part in age-appropriate activities, discussions, and videos designed to help children understand the impact of bullying and how they can safely use their voice to stand up for themselves and others.

If you’d like to explore more at home, resources and information about the campaign can be found on the Anti-Bullying Alliance website.

Together, let’s empower our children to use their “power for good.”

  • Year 1 Visit to the British Motor Museum

    Mon 10 Nov 2025

Our Year 1 pupils had a fantastic day out at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. We explored the museum’s incredible collection of historic British cars and learnt how the motor industry shaped life in our region. britishmotormuseum.co.uk

The children enjoyed interactive displays, asked lots of thoughtful questions, and took part in hands‑on activities that brought our topic of transport and travel to life. We were especially impressed by how engaged and curious they all were.

A big thank you to all the staff and parent volunteers who supported this trip, and to the children for representing our school so well. The visit was an inspiring learning experience—and great fun too!

  • Remembrance Service

    Mon 10 Nov 2025

A huge thank you to all the members of our school community who represented Holy Trinity Primary School at this year’s Remembrance Service. We are incredibly proud of the way our pupils, staff, and families came together to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

The children’s behaviour and the respect they demonstrated throughout the service were truly exemplary. They listened attentively, participated with sincerity, and showed great understanding of the importance of remembrance. Moments like these highlight the strong values we uphold at Holy Trinity — respect, gratitude, and community spirit.

Thank you once again to everyone who took part and supported this important occasion.
