• Summer Fete

  Thank you to Willows Friends for organising an amazing Summer Fete on Saturday 22nd June, the weather  was perfect. Also a big thankyou to all the volunteers and members of staff who helped out at the fete and parents for all their kind donations.

   

  

• Olympic week

  Year 5 have enjoyed learning about Asia at the Olympics as part of our whole school Olympic Week.  The children researched the Asia's connections with the Olympics, when they have hosted the games and highlights from those events.  They also used the ipads to find out about and create imovie's or Top Trump cards about popular Asian sports and famous Asian athletes.  In our Music lesson, we listened to different Olympic songs then had a go at writing lyrics and composing melodies for our Olympic songs of our own!
