Football Updates
Tue 14 Oct 2025On Tuesday 14th October, our Y6 boys football team were crowned South Warwickshire Champions in a tournament hosted by Claverdon Primary School. During our group stage games, the boys opened up with a comfortable 2-0 win before drawing their second game 1-1. The boys had every right to feel a little aggrieved after a couple of questionable refereeing decisions. However, they were encouraged to let their football do the talking and that’s exactly what they did from that moment on. They concluded the group stage by playing some exceptional football, resulting in a 6-0 victory and progressing to the final. The boys form on the evening continued to go from strength to strength, with some superb strikes seeing us go 3-0 up in the final. With just a couple of minutes to go, the result was put in slight doubt as a result of two, very quick own goals. However, the boys saw out a 3-2 victory to be crowned very worthy winners. Congratulations to all of the boys involved, we are very proud of your achievement. Squad: Adam, Kacper, Rabindra, Oskar, Henry B, Henry S, Oscar and Nicholas.

Football Updates
Mon 13 Oct 2025Monday 13th October saw Holy Trinity host another double header as our boys and girls competed in fixtures against St Gregory’s School. Our girls got their goal tally and winning streak going with an excellent all round performance. At Half time the score was 3-0 and a few girls playing in some new positions showed a really good understanding of their new roles. In what was also a good show of sportsmanship, our girls allowed the opponents to play a few extra players in the second half to help them gain further experience. The full time score was 4-1, an excellent result.
The boys were involved in a classic for the ages as we came up against a very strong St Gregory’s side. A back and forth match, with some fantastic goals as well as incredible defending, saw us come out on the wrong side of 5-4 score line. On another day, 3 or 4 excellent chances would have gone in the back of the net but credit must go to their goalkeeper and defenders for multiple saves and goal line clearances. Most pleasing, was our boys attitudes after the match, which were not ones of feeling sorry for ourselves or anger. Instead, they congratulated the winning team with smiles on the faces, clearly in the knowledge that they had been involved in a brilliant game of football.

Wraparound Bookings
Mon 13 Oct 2025We would like to kindly remind all families that children must be booked onto wraparound session, both before and after school, prior to attending. Recently, we have noticed an increase in pupils arriving for wraparound sessions which have not been pre-booked.
When this happens, our wraparound care and teaching assistant staff must leave the children already in their care to speak with parents and update MagicBooking. This takes valuable time away from the children and affects the smooth running of our sessions.
Please may we ask all parents to check bookings carefully when making them to ensure your child is registered for the correct session before they arrive at their breakfast or afterschool session.
As stated in our terms and conditions, if the school is required to make or amend a booking on your behalf, a £10 administration fee will be applied.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us to keep our wraparound care running efficiently and focused on the children.
Thank you for your continued support.

Cycle to School Week 2025
Mon 13 Oct 2025Did you know that this week is cycle to school week?
With the upcoming launch of our school 'bike bus', why not give it try?
For more information and to make a pledge, please visit: https://www.bikeability.org.uk/cycletoschoolweek/
We've also had reports of many cars idling whilst parked along The Willows South. This is where cars are stationary but keep their engines running. This is particularly bad for the environment and our pupils so please try to avoid doing this.
Finally, can we please remind everyone that the entire road outside of school (The Willows North) is enforced with double yellow lines and no parking. Nobody (with the exception of blue badge holders) should be attempting to find a parking space down this road as there aren't any.
Please allow enough time to park at Morrisons and make the short walk to help keep our school community safe.
