For children aged three and four, Trinity Preschool is a wonderful learning space, recently refurbished to create a bright, welcoming environment that supports curiosity, creativity, and independence.

Centrally located and easy to access, Trinity Preschool offers a safe and familiar setting where children feel confident, secure, and ready to learn. Every area of our provision is carefully designed to support children as they grow in confidence and develop increasing independence, ensuring smooth and supportive transitions throughout their early years.

We operate Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm, during term time, with closures for training days aligned with the school calendar. Breakfast and after-school wraparound care are also available for all preschool children.

We place a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and play, with regular Forest School sessions that allow children to explore, investigate, and learn through hands-on experiences in nature. Our play-based curriculum is firmly aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children’s development across all areas of learning.

Individual learning journals on Tapestry capture each child’s progress and achievements, celebrating their successes and strengthening partnerships with parents. A strong focus on communication, confidence, and school readiness ensures that children are well prepared for the next stage of their learning journey.

Trinity Preschool offers flexible childcare, with morning, afternoon, and full-day sessions available, alongside breakfast club and after-school care. This reliable wraparound provision is ideal for working families. As part of Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, we benefit from close links with the school, enabling children to gain confidence in a school-style environment and experience a smooth transition into Reception.
