Our Curriculum
At Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, our curriculum is ambitious, carefully sequenced and rooted in our Christian vision. It is designed to ensure that all pupils, including those who are disadvantaged or have additional needs, develop secure knowledge, skills and understanding across all subjects.
We have deliberately chosen and organised the content of each subject so that learning builds progressively from the Early Years through to Year 6. Key concepts are revisited and deepened over time, enabling pupils to know more, remember more and apply their learning with confidence.
High-quality teaching ensures that all pupils can access the full breadth of the curriculum. Lessons are adapted to meet individual needs while maintaining high expectations for every learner. Through this approach, pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education and for life beyond school.
Parents can find detailed information about each subject below. Click here to view information on our curriculum intent, how learning is sequenced, and how we support all pupils to succeed.
Our curriculum ensures coverage of all National Curriculum subjects and Religious Education. Learning is sequenced to revisit key knowledge and concepts, allowing pupils to deepen their understanding as they move through the school.

We are committed to ensuring that every pupil can access and succeed in our curriculum. Adaptations are made where needed to support pupils with SEND, those learning English as an additional language, and disadvantaged pupils.
