Session timings, costs & funding
15 or 30 hours free childcare for 3 and 4 year olds
We have registered with Warwickshire County Council to deliver early education funded hours for 3 and 4 year olds.
The amount of free childcare you can get depends on:
- your child’s age and circumstances
- whether you’re working (employed, self-employed, or a director)
- your income (and your partner’s income, if you have one)
- your immigration status

Visit here for more information: https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare
With Tax-Free Childcare, the government will pay £2 for every £8 paid into an account, which can be used against payment for ‘approved’ childcare provision (childminders, nurseries and nannies; before and afterschool clubs and holiday clubs)
Eligible parents are:
- UK working families, including the self-employed, earning under £100k and at least £139 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage)
- Who aren’t receiving Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers (TFC replaces childcare vouchers)
- With children aged 0-11 (or 0-16 if disabled)

- 15 hours free childcare
- 30 hours free childcare
Eligible parents can receive a top up of up to £2,000 per year per child
- until 1st September after your child turns 11
- or 16 for disabled children who you can claim up to £4,000
For those who pay this way, please can you do the following:
Please check your payment plan dates and make sure there is enough money in your TFC account to make your agreed payments.
For your information, TFC payments are automatically linked to your account by MagicBooking. Payments are then actioned as soon as we are next in the office and applied to your account. You therefore no longer have to email to let us know about TFC payments. If your TFC payments do not cover the whole amount, you will need to pay any outstanding fees.
Please be aware though that, due to the final step in crediting your account being a manual process, there may be a delay in crediting your account, especially during times when the school is closed for a holiday. |

Childcare Vouchers (closed to new entrants)
Speak to your employer if you are eligible.
If you’re still able to use Childcare Vouchers (closed to new entrants), you can use these with Trinity Stars (CV37 9QN, Ofsted URN: 125681). Please make sure you add your name (not your child’s) as the reference. We are currently registered with the following Childcare Voucher companies:
Care-4
Computershare (0026959471)
Co-operative Flexible Benefits (85123090)
Edenred (P21349970)
Fideliti Childcare Vouchers (TRI108C)
KiddiVouchers
Sodexo / Pluxtree (919849)
If you are paying by childcare vouchers, when we have received these payments into our bank account, we will make the adjustment in your magicbooking account. Please note, there will be a slight delay for this – different childcare voucher companies make payments to us on different timescales. If your childcare vouchers do not cover the whole amount, you will need to pay any outstanding fees.
Universal Credit and Tax Credits
Holy Trinity C of E Primary School recognises that childcare can be costly, so we encourage eligible parents and carers to claim the childcare element of Universal Credit. Universal Credit can help with the costs of childcare. You may be able to claim up to 85% of your registered childcare costs if you’re eligible for Universal Credit, currently in paid work, or due to start a job within the next month.
If you already get tax credits, you can use the calculator to find out how much you could claim for childcare. If you are not eligible to continue claiming tax credits, you may need to check separately if you are eligible to get help with childcare costs using Universal Credit.
If you’re on Universal Credit and in work, you can use its childcare element to pay for some of your childcare costs while you go to work. Eligible parents may be able to claim back some their childcare costs:
- up to a maximum of £951 for one child
- and £1,630 for two or more children
- for children up to the age of 16
If you’re on Tax Credits, you can claim the Child Tax Credit until the next 31st August after your child turns 16.
Guidance on Universal Credit childcare can be found here: Universal Credit childcare costs.
| To help you evidence and reclaim childcare costs through Universal Credit our registration number is Ofsted URN: 125681 - Holy Trinity CofE Primary School, CV37 9QN. |
You will easily be able to generate a statement for specific dates through any bookings made and paid for through magicbooking – please see our FAQs below for more information.
Additional Funding
Please visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/ to check what other entitlements you may be eligible for, and inform Trinity Preschool or Trinity Stars Wraparound of any funding you receive or voucher schemes you are registered with.
Payments
We accept a range and combination of payments which are detailed below.
As a publicly funded school we have a no arrears policy so any payments MUST be made in advance. If a Parent / Carer builds up arrears and fails to clear them, the child’s non-funded elements may be withdrawn and they can be stopped from attending these sessions. Parents / Carers will still need to pay the outstanding balance in full.
As long as non-funded fees are paid a minimum of a month in advance, we are flexible to allow for fees to be paid monthly. Parents can choose a monthly instalment plan – see our FAQs below for more information.
