Supporting Children in Need
As is tradition, to raise money for this year’s Children in Need appeal, our Year 6 classes have been busy planning an afternoon of fun and games for this Friday. They have organised and resourced everything themselves (including prizes), and it is always a lot of fun!
We ask children to contribute a small monetary donation where possible, which will allow them to play as many games as they wish during their time slot. Please note that no children will be excluded from taking part. Prizes and games on offer traditionally include iced biscuits, face painting, temporary tattoos, and sweets (which will be sent home to consume).
Allergies and intolerances will, of course, be taken into consideration. However, if there are any specific preferences or restrictions for your child that we might not be aware of (e.g. no face paint), please inform your child’s class teacher and discuss this with your child as well.
Finally, normal school uniform should still be worn. However, children are very welcome to accessorise with Children in Need items such as Pudsey headbands, spotty tights or socks, or themed T-shirts under their school jumpers.
Many thanks for your continued support.
