On Tuesday 14^th October, our Y6 boys football team were crowned South Warwickshire Champions in a tournament hosted by Claverdon Primary School. During our group stage games, the boys opened up with a comfortable 2-0 win before drawing their second game 1-1. The boys had every right to feel a little aggrieved after a couple of questionable refereeing decisions. However, they were encouraged to let their football do the talking and that’s exactly what they did from that moment on. They concluded the group stage by playing some exceptional football, resulting in a 6-0 victory and progressing to the final. The boys form on the evening continued to go from strength to strength, with some superb strikes seeing us go 3-0 up in the final. With just a couple of minutes to go, the result was put in slight doubt as a result of two, very quick own goals. However, the boys saw out a 3-2 victory to be crowned very worthy winners.
