¡Buen viaje! Mrs Alberti
For many years, the wonderful Rachel Alberti has been teaching Spanish during teachers' Planning Preparation and Assessment Time (otherwise known as PPA). She is an incredible Spanish speaker,
having lived in Spanish speaking countries for a number of years. With her fluency also comes a deep knowledge of history and culture which has greatly benefited and enlightened our pupils.
She is now taking the opportunity to leave us for a short time to go and spend an extended period in Mexico where she will see family that she has not had the chance to see for many years.
The good news is, that she is only leaving us temporarily. Her last day will be Thursday 16th October and she will be returning to our school on Tuesday 27th January 2026.
Mrs Alberti is particularly enthusiastic about the effect that this temporary leave will have on her professional work in school. She is going to come back with wonderful resources to use with the children and with a renewed energy and passion for teaching a subject that she truly loves.
The Governors and staff of the school wish her the very best, and we look forward to seeing her when she returns to our school in January.
¡Buen viaje!
