Our Houses
At Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, every child belongs to one of our four Houses: Ash, Beech, Elm or Oak.
Our Houses bring children together across the school, giving everyone opportunities to work as a team, support one another and show our CARE values in action.

Our House system celebrates the everyday ways our children make a difference:
Children can earn House Points for demonstrating our CARE values, making positive choices, showing kindness, working hard and contributing to school life.
Each House is proudly represented by a Year Six House Captain, who helps to lead, encourage and inspire their House throughout the year.
Whether you are Ash, Beech, Elm or Oak, every House Point counts – and every child has a part to play.

Sports Day
Our annual Sports Day is a chance for children to come together, compete in their House teams and show our CARE values in action.
Throughout the day, children take part in a range of events, earning points for their House. Every year group has the opportunity to contribute to their House’s overall score, so every effort, every race and every point can make a difference.
Whether children are sprinting, jumping, throwing, cheering on their teammates or showing resilience when something feels challenging, everyone has an important part to play.
At the end of Sports Day, the points from across all year groups are combined to determine the overall House score.
