Online Safety
At Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, we recognise that technology plays a vital role in children’s learning and everyday lives. The internet offers exciting opportunities to learn, create and communicate, but it also presents risks if not used safely and responsibly.
We are committed to helping our pupils become confident, responsible digital citizens by teaching them how to stay safe online, both in school and at home. Online safety is embedded throughout our curriculum and reinforced through regular discussions, guidance and support for children, staff and families.
This page provides useful information, advice and resources to support parents and carers in keeping children safe online. By working together, we can ensure that all children develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to navigate the online world safely and positively.

CEOP's Child Protection Advisors
CEOP helps any child or young person under the age of 18 who is being pressured, forced or tricked into taking part in an activity of any kind. This can be something that has taken place either online or in ‘the real world’, or both. The CEOP Safety Centre has clear information and advice on what can be reported to CEOP, the reporting process and what will happen if you do decide to make a report. You can visit the CEOP Safety Centre and make a report directly to CEOP by clicking the Click CEOP button.
If you are experiencing online bullying or something else online has worried you please speak to an adult you trust, or you can talk to Childline at any time on 0800 1111 or at www.childline.org.uk.
CEOP is a command of the National Crime Agency and is dedicated to tackling the sexual abuse and exploitation of children and young people. CEOP helps children and young people under the age of 18 who have been forced or manipulated into taking part, or are being pressured to take part, in sexual activity of any kind. This can be both online and offline. The CEOP Safety Centre offers information and advice for children and young people, parents and carers and professionals. You can visit the CEOP Safety Centre and make a report directly to CEOP by clicking the Click CEOP button.
Online bullying or other online concerns should not be reported to CEOP and children and young people should be directed to speak to an adult they trust, and/or referred to Childline, if they would like to speak to someone about how they are feeling.

Online Safety Presentation
In the current age of technological development, Online Safety is vital whether you are an adult or a child.
At Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, Online Safety is carefully considered and practiced by all adults, it is also delivered to the children through Computing and PSHE lessons. From Reception children are taught the basics of Online Safety, while children in Year 1 and above are taught progressive 'refresher modules' at the beginning of every half term, the aim of this is to keep the information fresh and to re-enforce the SMART rules.

Warwickshire Online Safety Hub
In today’s digital world, ensuring online safety for primary school children is essential — it helps protect them from exposure to inappropriate content, cyberbullying, and online predators, while also fostering responsible and respectful behaviour in digital spaces. Teaching children about strong passwords, recognising suspicious messages, asking for help, and understanding privacy settings empowers them to explore the internet confidently and securely.
Parents and carers can support these efforts by using trusted resources, such as the Warwickshire Online Safety Hub, which provides guidance, tools, and up-to-date information at https://warwickshire.onlinesafetyhub.uk/
