Holy Trinity C of E Primary School takes pride in the fact that it is an inclusive school where every child matters. We recognise that any child may experience additional needs at some point on their school journey and that for some children, these needs may be more long term requiring more personalised planning and support. We strive to deliver this support to the best of our ability, seeking advice from professional bodies as appropriate, ensuring staff are trained and confident to teach for a range of needs, working closely with parents and carers to enhance the learning experiences and ensuring that the child’s views are heard.
SEND Inclusion and Vision Statement
At Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, we are committed to creating a fully inclusive learning community where every child is valued, respected and enabled to flourish. Rooted in our Christian values and guided by our CARE ethos — Community, Aspiration, Resilience and Enjoyment — we believe that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), have the right to access a high-quality, ambitious and inclusive education. We strive to ensure that barriers to learning are identified early and addressed through adaptive teaching, personalised support and strong partnership working with families and external professionals. Every teacher is a teacher of SEND, and we take collective responsibility for ensuring that pupils with additional needs make meaningful progress academically, socially and emotionally. Our inclusive approach promotes independence, confidence and wellbeing, enabling children to develop the skills they need to succeed both in school and in later life. We celebrate diversity, champion equity and work tirelessly to ensure that all pupils feel safe, supported and empowered to reach their full potential. Through high expectations, responsive provision and a nurturing environment, Holy Trinity remains committed to ensuring that inclusion is not an add-on, but the foundation of everything we do.
