Holy Trinity C of E Primary School

Rooted in faith, we reach for the stars.

On Thursday 30th June, the Year classes went to the Girls' Grammar School to watch the musical, Matilda. There were several local primary schools watching it with us and it seemed like they all enjoyed it. The cast performed quick changes and, if they had a mishap, they managed to make it blend in. The actors and the orchestra worked extremely well together and lost themselves in the music. At one point, they told a story about an acrobat and an escape artist, whose love for each other was very deep. However, it did not finish happily. The undying passion for each other was mesmerising. In the end, it was a triumph of Matilda and her classmates against the bullying headmistress and a triumph for the Girls' School. Written by Poppy and Jess, Crocodiles. Miss Cottrell and Mr Frerichs were very proud of the wonderful attitude and behaviour of all the Year 5 children, who were excellent audience members, carried along by a brilliant performance
